Susan Sadigova is Foreign Policy’s Director of Strategic Development. She is responsible for developing long-term institutional partnerships with public and private sectors through FP Magazine, www.foreignpolicy.com, FP Analytics, and FP events. She is also in charge of developing custom programs tailored to specific client challenges.

Susan has more than 10 years of business development and international government relations experience with US federal agencies, foreign governments and the private sector. Prior to joining FP, she ran an American non-profit with 55+ member companies focused on Eurasia-US relationships, assisting with market entry, partner identification, financing and investment, contracts and proposals. Prior to that, she spent two years with British Embassy in Baku as a Manager for Government Relations on behalf of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Susan also has extensive event management and public speaking experience. She is fluent in English, Russian, Turkish and Azerbaijani.

Susan holds a Master’s degree in International Public Policy from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of Johns Hopkins University.
