Director, Marketing and Ad Operations
Matthew Curry has been with Foreign Policy since 2011, starting as the circulation marketing manager and working his way up to director of marketing and ad operations. He has seen the company grow from a bimonthly magazine with occasional web articles to a multiplatform publisher releasing content through social media, an app, digital newsletters, print, and the mobile web. Currently, Matt answers RFPs together with advertising representatives; coordinates pricing, premiums, offers, and channel placement pitches for all audiences; and crafts external marketing collateral to execute marketing strategies. Matt has almost a decade of publishing marketing experience and has previously worked for the official magazine of the US-China Business Council and the Washington City Paper. Matt has an MBA from American University and a B.A. from George Washington University, where he met his future wife. Originally from NYC, he has lived in the Washington, D.C., area since 1998 and currently resides in Chevy Chase with his wife and two children.
