Vice President, Events
Grace serves as FP‘s Vice President of Events. In this role she conceptualizes, plans and executes events from intimate dinners honoring members of the international affairs community to major conferences and galas here in Washington, D.C. and abroad. Since 2013 she has planned FP‘s branded annual events – the Diplomat of the Year dinner, Transformational Trends conference, Global Thinkers celebration and PeaceGame events in Washington and in Abu Dhabi – as well as many other events of all shapes and sizes. All of FP‘s events involve liaising with high-level attendees and speakers such as Secretary of State John Kerry, IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde, Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, Export-Import Bank Chairman & President Fred Hochberg and interfacing with clients and sponsors like Visa, Chevron and the United Arab Emirates.
Prior to joining FP, Grace served on the non-partisan Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, which planned all of the events taking place in the Capitol on Inauguration Day 2013. Her job included coordinating the major movements of the day for everyone from the Presidential Party to Beyoncé and recruiting, training and supervising a team of 350.
Grace brings additional Capitol Hill and political experience to her role at FP. She worked for U.S. Senator Patty Murray for five years in various roles in her official Senate office and on her 2010 re-election campaign and prior to that she worked for U.S. Representative Zoe Lofgren and for the political action committee EMILY’s List. She received her B.A. from Boston University in history and journalism.
