Diana Marrero is Vice President of Strategic Development at Foreign Policy Magazine. She works with a wide range of partners on events, analytics projects and marketing campaigns from a global perspective. She has six years of experience working on integrated media initiatives that create thought leadership opportunities for clients – now at FP and previously at The Hill and the Washington Post.
Before shifting to the business side of media, Diana was an award-winning journalist. She covered a number of beats during her decade-long reporting career, including national politics, local government, crime and US-Cuba relations. She is the founder and past president of the DC Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Fluent in Spanish, she has traveled extensively throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.
